The Gallery
The Gallery holds images I have taken over a period of about 5 years, mostly landscapes from around Britain and one or two other countries.
Since 2001 I have spent a considerable amount of time in Cornwall, in particular, West Cornwall. The rugged coast line and ever changing weather makes it a favourite location for photographers and I visit as many times as I can. Picturesque villages, beaches and fishing coves supply endless inspiration.
Cornwall's mining past has left countless ruins dating back hundreds of years. The rich granite buildings against the lush green fields create interesting pictures.
Newlyn Harbour
Scotland is another favourite of mine, from the Mountains on the West cost and Glencoe to the heather covered Eastern Counties. Both these locations have one thing in common, unpredictable weather, a necessary ingredient in producing such beautiful scenery.
You will also find a selection of images from other parts of the world. Although I enjoy traveling I believe the British Isles contains some of the worlds most beautiful landscapes.
In the last few months I have added a few images of wildlife along with portraits I have taken recently.

For those who are interested in the equipment I use: Canon 300D, Canon 5D, 16 - 35mm Lens, Canon 24 - 105mm Lens, Canon 100 - 400mm lens. Lee filter system, Tripod. All images are edited in Photoshop CS4 on an IMAC computer.
